The Directive has been amended

According to the change which states that “Applications are evaluated according to the criteria determined by the Senate, by including the candidates' GPA and at least 40% of the ÖSYS/YKS score in the year in which the program is registered in higher education, and the transition is made according to the quota allocated.” made in the 2nd sentence of paragraph 3 of article 7 of "Regulation Amending the Regulation on the Principles of Transfer between Associate Degree and Undergraduate Degree Programs in Higher Education Institutions, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfers" published in the Official Gazette dated 11.01.2023 and numbered 32070, "Istanbul Technical University Undergraduate Programs Horizontal Transfer, Double Major Program and Minor Program Directive" has been accepted in its attached form with the decision of the University Senate, dated 20 June 2023 and numbered 837.
We recommend that you carefully examine the Application Conditions and Evaluation Criteria in the relevant directive while making your undergraduate intra university transfer, double major and minor program applications.

Announcement of the Semester of the Students whose Applications are Not Accepted and the Students Who Apply within the Application Period

On September 06, 2023, the semester of students whose applications were not accepted among the students who applied for Transfer, Double Major and Minor Programs within ITU, and the students who applied, will be announced on our website. Students who have applied for ITU Transfer, Double Major (DMP) and Minor Programs must check whether the application is accepted and the semester information on 06 September 2023.

Evaluation of Applications

• Evaluation of the applications of students who applied for ITU Transfer, Double Major Program (DMP) and Minor Programs will start on August 28, 2023.
• The conditions stated in the ITU Undergraduate Programs Directive for Transfer, Double Major Program and Minor Program and the conditions stated above must be met. In the ranking of the students who meet the application conditions: First of all, the overall grade point average and, in case of equality of the average, the total credits completed by the student are taken into account. Priority is given to students who have completed more credits.
