2023-2024 ACADEMIC YEAR ITU TRANSFER APPLICATIONS

In accordance with the Regulation on the Principles of Transfer, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer between Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs in Higher Education Institutions and the provisions of the "ITU Undergraduate Programs Transfer, Double Major Program (DMP) and Minor Program Directive", qualifications, required documents, application date, allocated quotas and other issues for students who will be accepted through internal transfer are listed below.

1. Conditions

The candidate must meet the conditions specified both in the ITU Undergraduate Programs Directive for Transfer, Double Major Program (DMP) and Minor Programs and in the application announcement.

2. Required Documents

No documents are required to be submitted for applications to be made within ITU. Transfer applications between ITU's Faculties and Departments must be made through the student information system. In order to apply for transfer to ITU Northern Cyprus programs, a written application must be made to the Registrar's Office.

3. Application Dates: 14 August 2023 09:00 - 25 August 2023 17:00

Applications to be made between ITU's Faculties and Departments must be made through the the Old Student Information System (Banner) until 25 August 2023 17:00. No applications or preferences can be made after 25 August 2023, 17:00. A written application must be made to the Registrar's Office for transfer applications to ITU Northern Cyprus programs.

4. Important Information About the Base Score of the Programs

In order to be able to apply for transfer between the diploma programs that accept students at the same level within the university, the central placement score of the student in the type of score valid for the diploma program they want to pass as of the year they took the central exam must not be lower than the lowest base score of the diploma programs of other universities in the country equivalent to the diploma program they want to pass. Students will not be admitted from years that do not have the lowest domestic base score of the program. Click here for a list of the lowest base scores of the programs.

Course adjustments will be made in accordance with the ITU Exemption and Adjustment Procedures Directive.
