| Course Description |
| Foundations of research, concept and types of theory. Problem identification and formulation. Defining and formulating the
research problem, importance of literature review, monograph, patents, research databases, web as a source, critical
literature review. Accepts of method validation, observation and collection of data, sampling methods, data processing,
analysis with interpretation. Ethics-ethical issues, ethical committees; Intellectual property rights and patent law,
commercialization, copyright, royalty, trade related aspects of intellectual property rights; concept and design of research
paper, citation and acknowledgement, plagiarism, reproducibility and accountability. Meaning and technique of interpretation,
writing and significance of different steps of report, conclusions. |
