Course Description
Overview of drilling and completion fluids. Fundamentals of static pressures in wells. Causes of well kicks and kick detection. Abnormal pressure detections. Well control methods. Fundamentals of constant bottom hole pressure method. Surface well control equipment. Pressure control procedures while tripping. Special conditions, problems, and procedures in well control.
