Course Description

Order symbols, asymptotic series, asymptotic expansions and asymptotic convergence. Asymptotic expansions of integrals. Asymptotic expansion of the gamma function. Asymptotic expansions for differential equations. Perturbation techniques. Theory of regular and singular perturbations. Perturbative solutions of the differential equations, WKB method.
