| Course Description |
| Buildings are complex systems that consist of many components. These components may be grouped as building element sub
system, structural sub system and service sub system. All these subsystems may also be divided into two groups as sub-
structural and super structural components. In the scope of the course, buildings are firstly analysed with a holistic approach,
then the components that forms the whole are separately studied, and finally the performance requirements expected from these
components are studied in detail. In the course, building site survey, application of the Project to the sites, and sub structural
components of the building are primarily studied. |
