| Course Description |
| Energy efficient housing design concept is introduced, physical environmental factors (climate zone, settlement design,
orientation, building envelope, transparent areas, solar control etc.) affecting energy efficient housing design are analyzed.
Passive and active systems providing thermal and visual comfort conditions are investigated. Actual approaches and sample
applications are analysed. Basing on this information, basic decisions for energy efficient houses in various climatic conditions
and various user requirements presented and discussed. |
