| Course Description |
| The aim of the course is to teach the basic principles of electrical engineering and the mining applications of electricity. In
addition, AC and DC circuits, electrical circuit components, single phase and three phase networks, electrical machines used in
mines, transformers, power distribution systems, voltage drop calculation, cables, ex-proof classes, ex-proof electrical materials,
safety in use of electricity, maintenance of electrical equipment will be explained considering requirements of mining engineering
education. |
