| Course Description |
| Optical mineralogy is a course including investigation of the optical characters of the transparent minerals. It
treats the behaviour the light passing through the different environments such as isotrope and unisotrope. The
course contains also refraction and reflection of the light, optical signs, optical indicatrix. Beside these, optical
characters of the major rock-forming minerals under the polarisan microscope are the main subjects of the optical
mineralogy. |
