| Course Description |
| In this course, it is aimed to reveal the subsurface structure by using reflected and refracted waves coming from interfaces separating
layers that have different velocity and densities. Travel time and amplitude values of the reflected and refracted signals are recorded
on the earth surface and using this information, seismic velocities of the subsurface layers, as well as the thicknesses and slopes of
them, are determined. |
