Course Description
The birth of labor law was concurrent with workers gaining bargaining power against employers under the umbrella of the union organization. Otherwise, the understanding of protecting workers through laws that can only be changed in favor of the workers emerged after the Second World War. With the union organization, the workers determined their working conditions imperative in the collective bargaining agreements that emerged as a result of a collective bargain with the employer, and they were able to put pressure on the employer by strike during the negotiation phase.
