| Course Description |
| Fundamental principles of production engineering and elements of production systems. Surface facilities and surface treatment of
produced oil. Basics of artificial lift methods. Reservoir inflow and outflow performance: Productivity index, Vogel method and flow
efficiency, Fetkovitch method, future reservoir performance prediction methods. Fluid flow in pipes, multi-phase flow in pipes,
pressure drop calculations for multiphase flow, pressure drop calculations for different well geometries. Wellhead and choke
performance. Basic decline curve analysis. |
