Course Description
Energy sources in brief and geothermal energy. Geothermal energy in Turkey and in the world with statistics. Geothermal resources. Exploration and development of geothermal systems. Well bore temperatures and heat losses. Utilization of geothermal energy: direct uses and power generation. Recovery of geothermal energy. Thermodynamics of geothermal fluids. Measurements of geothermal fluid flow rate. Modeling of geothermal reservoirs.
