| Course Description |
| The course deals with fundamental components and design of advanced driver assistance systems. It emphasizes the importance of
electronic systems and software in the new era of the automotive industry. The course includes all kind of sensors for sensing
vehicle states, drivers condition and the surroundings in which the vehicle moves in.The course covers advanced driver assistance
systems of today and the future that make valuable contributions to vehicle safety, sustainability, performance, handling, economy,
comfort and quality. Important topics like sensor fusion, ADAS integration, testing, simulation & debugging, vehicle2vehicle(V2V)
and vehicle2infrastructure (V2I) communication, market acceptance, governmental/legal/ethical aspects are also presented. |
