Course Description
Fundamental concepts. Single degree of systems, undamped and damped free vibrations. Fourier series. Forced vibrations: Harmonic, periodic and non-periodic forced vibrations. Resonance. Two degree of freedom systems. Introduction to multi-degree-of-freedom systems. Eigenvalues and eigenvectors. Introduction to vibration of simple continuous systems.
