  3. Engineering Completion Program Course Registrations
  4. You can see the course equivalence between the lesson plans and the last lesson plan before the fall term of the 2017-2018 academic year from this link.
  5. ING 112 course,
  6. a- Students who are subject to the 2017-2018 fall semester and later plans and take the ING 101 or ING 102 coded course will not be able to take the ING 112 course. Those of these students who want to repeat their lessons will repeat the ING 101 or ING 102 coded course that was opened with the same code.

    b- Students who have a course coded ING 112 in the lesson plan and who are not assigned a course (internal- external transfer, transfer, etc.), those who have got a score equal to or over 85 from ITU SFL Proficiency Exam, or equivalent scores from TOEFL PBT+TWE, TOEFL IBT, PTE shown in the table must enroll in ING 112 courses with 23447 CRN during Spring semester course registrations.

    c- For students taking ING 112 and ING 201 coded courses, ING 103 coded courses will be elective under “General Education”.

  9. To the Attention of Male Students Over the Age of 29
  10. Undergraduate students over the age of 29 will be able to register for courses as of their class in the Spring semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. However, the registration renewal process will not provide the suspension of their military service in accordance with the Military Law.

  11. 4901 / 4901E Design Project Course Registrations
  12. Design Project course registration must be made by the student on the web on the course registration dates. Students who do not meet the requirements for enrolling in the Design Project course will be dropped from their Design Project course registration.

  13. Faculty of Architecture 492 / 492E and 4902 / 4902E Graduation Work / Diploma Project Course Registrations
  14. With the previous decision taken in the Faculty of Architecture, it has been decided that as of 2020-2021, the prerequisites will be postponed for one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic conditions and will be valid as of the Fall Semester of the 2021-2022 Academic Year for the courses 492/492E which are found in their previous course plans and for 4902/4902E courses which are found in the course plans after 2017-2018 Academic Year Fall term.You can access the prerequisites implemented for Spring Term from here.

  15. YTO Coded Courses (Turkish Courses for Foreign Students)
  16. YTO coded courses are open for foreign students who want to improve their Turkish language level. These courses have no effect on GPA and graduation conditions. Grades of these non-credit courses will be seen as BL/BZ (successful/unsuccessful) on transcripts. Foreign students who want to take these courses can select them, but these courses are not substitutions of TUR coded courses.

  17. Courses with the codes of "ITA", "ISP", "FRA", "ALM", "JPN", "RUS", "CIN" offered by the School of Foreign Languages
  18. a- Foreign Language Courses, which are included in the lesson plans of undergraduate programs as non-credit before, are included in the final plan (2017-2018 Fall semester and after) as with 3 credits as of the spring semester of the 2018-2019 academic year, in accordance with the decision of the University Senate, dated 29 November 2018 and numbered 689 and they have been added to the ITB (Humanities and Social Sciences) group courses. If these courses are taken, the letter grades to be taken at the end of the semester will be recorded on the transcript and will affect the graduation credit and average.

    b- Students who are included in the 2017-2018 Fall semester and later plans have to complete their ITB credits if they have successfully completed the foreign language courses added to ITB before the 2018-2019 spring semester (since the courses were non-credit at that time).

    c- Students included in the 2017-2018 Fall semester plans can take these courses, but these courses will not be counted towards graduation credits.

  19. To the attention of students who will “SNT” coded courses
  20. Undergraduate students who have an SNT coded course in their lesson plan are required to take 1 SNT coded course during their education. Therefore, the SNT coded course should be chosen in accordance with the lesson plan. More than one SNT coded course should not be selected.

  21. "BEB" Coded Courses Offered by the Department of Physical Education
  22. The courses with BEB code are non-credit and the grade will be shown as pass / fail on the transcript. Undergraduate students can choose these courses if they wish. For students who do not have a BEB coded course in their lesson plan, BEB coded courses have no effect on graduation and GPA. Students should not take more than one BEB coded practice courses in the same semester.

  23. Announcement for Foreign Students who will register for 'TUR' and 'ATA' coded courses for spring semester in 2020-2021 Academic Year;

    TUR and ATA coded courses with CRN numbers listed above are opened for foreign students only, and the courses will be taught in Turkish. Foreign students who want to take these courses should fill the form out and send it via e-mail to ermisa@itu.edu.tr during the course registration period.

  25. To the Attention of Students who will take Elective Courses
  26. To repeat an elective course, you must have taken the same course. If a different course is chosen, the grades of both courses are used in calculating the average. Different courses cannot be taken for repeating another course, but this does not prevent you from graduating.

  27. To the attention of the students whose maximum duration will expire at the end of the 2020-2021 Academic Year
  28. It is recommended that they make their course selections by examining the 14th article of the ITU Undergraduate Education and Training Regulation under the title of Duration of Education and type.

  29. To the Attention of Undergraduate Students who want to take Master Courses
  30. The undergraduate students who want to take Master courses are required to fill in the attached form and send it to the e-mail address of mudemirci@itu.edu.tr in the drop week.
