Holding BSc degree in one of the fields of Electronics and Communications Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Mathematics Engineering and Physics Engineering.

Textile Eng.(MSc.) ALES Numerical must be minimum 70.(old system GRE Quantitative must be 675, new system must be 152). Undergraduate GPA must be minimum 2.25/4 (59.16/100). Textile Engineering Program and other architecture, engineering and basic science programs. Scientific preparation program is applied for the other programs. Students from the other programs will have at least 4 courses in Textile Engineering Undergraduate Program.
Textile Eng.(PhD) ALES Numerical must be minimum 70.(old system GRE Quantitative must be 675, new system must be 152). Undergraduate GPA must be minimum 2.25/4 (59.16/100). Graduate GPA must be minimum 3.0/4 (76.66/100). Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Programs or  Engineering,  architecture and basic science programs. Scientific preparation program is applied for the other programs. Students from the other programs will have at least 2 courses in Textile Engineering Undergraduate and 2 courses in Gradute Program.
Thermo Fluids (MSc.) ALES Numerical must be minimum 80. (old system GRE Quantitative must be 720, new system must be 156). Undergraduate GPA must be minimum 2.6/4 (67.33/100).  Graduate programs must be Mechanical Eng., Aeronautical Eng., Astronautical Eng., Naval Architecture Eng., Manufacturing Eng., Mechatronics, Chemical Eng., Energy Eng.
Traditional Dances (MSc) ALES is not required. There is a requirement to pass the written / applied exam determined by the Program Executive Board.
The exam consists of two parts as a written and  applied exam. Candidate students should prepare a visual or audio presentation or a performance presentation for the applied exam should prepare a visual or audio presentation or a performance presentation for the applied exam. (Maximum 5 minutes) (Candidate students who will make a performance presentation should wear suitable clothes and shoes for dancing.)
Language certification (SBE Application Requirements), two letters of recommendation. Statement of purpose (at least 500 words), a file which includes curriculum vitae, the performances and publications.
Transport Eng. (MSc.) ALES Numerical must be minimum 80.(old system GRE Quantitative must be 720, new system must be 156). Undergraduate GPA must be minimum 2.5/4 (65/100). All Engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, urban and regional planning. Students who are not graduated from civil engineering department will take 2 mandatory scientific preparation courses. This procedure could be applied for Civil Engineers who are not graduated from İTÜ Civil Engineering department.
Transport Eng. (PhD) ALES Numerical must be minimum 80.(old system GRE Quantitative must be 720, new system must be 156). Undergraduate GPA must be minimum 2.6/4 (67.33/100). Graduate GPA must be minimum 3.2/4 (81.33/100). Bachelor degree has to be in engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, urban and regional planning. Also masters degree has to be related to Transportation Engineering.
Urban and Regional Planning (PhD) ALES Numerical must be minimum 65.(old system GRE Quantitative must be 652, new system must be 151). Undergraduate GPA must be minimum 2.75/4 (70.83/100). Graduate GPA must be minimum 3.0/4 (76.66/100). Graduate programs must be Urban and Regional Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Economy, Sociology, Law, Statistics, Geography, Geomatic Eng, Civil Eng, Environmental Eng, Geological Eng. Geophysics Eng. Public Administration, International Relations,Political Science, Management.
Urban Design (MSc.) ALES Numerical must be minimum 65.(old system GRE Quantitative must be 652, new system must be 151). Undergraduate GPA must be minimum 2.65/4 (68.5/100). Graduate programs must be Architecture, Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture.
