Course Description
The main purpose of hydrometry is to reveal the water potential of a given river. For this purpose, the following issues constitute the main field of study of hydrometry: 1- Performing the water level measurements at a gauging station, 2- Calculation of the discharge by using water speed in a given cross section, 3- To conduct measurements in order to determine the water quality and sediment discharge, 4- To perform the analysis of hydrometric data.
